Feeling stuck can be so frustrating. Where do we go when our usual coping skills stop working?
Having been on both sides of this question, I deeply understand the struggle on both a personal and professional level. I believe that's where therapy can really help to remove some road-blocks. It's not a cure-all, but it can certainly help build momentum.
By using more imaginative approaches to therapy in addition to cognitive approaches, I believe that roadblocks can be moved and deeper, holistic healing is possible.
I look forward to hearing and helping you move forward in your story.

I use my skills and training of over two decades as a psychotherapist, neuropsychology practitioner, addictions treatment professional, forensically credentialed and certified provider of sex offender assessment and treatment services, to provide general telemental health outpatient counseling care. Life can be challenging, and in those moments we may lose touch with our true selves. Reaching out for support takes courage and is an important first step. With over 18 years of experience, my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I work primarily with adults using an integrative approach that includes Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, EMDR, and Mindfulness. I have extensive experience supporting individuals in creative and caregiving fields, helping them reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and find balance. I also work with adult children of caregivers who struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues such as Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions of identity and belonging. Separately, I bring specialized experience supporting people living with chronic and complex illness, as well as caregivers navigating the emotional impact of illness, uncertainty, grief, and caregiving. Whatever brings you to therapy, our work can be a space to slow down, better understand your experiences, and explore what you want for yourself moving forward.
I have been a therapist for over 20 years and have expertise in depression and anxiety, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, women's issues, and problematic anger. Although I work with people of all faiths and backgrounds, I also enjoy providing faith-based counseling to Christian clients to support them spiritually in treatment. I earned my BA in psychology from Butler University and my MA in Clinical Psychology from Trinity International University. I am curious and teachable, willing to learn from observation and from others. I am a wife, daughter, sister, and mom of three ranging from elementary school to adulthood, with disabilities and chronic illness. I love spending time with my family, good coffee, and taking a walk with a good friend.
